What this site measures

This site stores a random identifier in your browser and uses it to measure how the site is used — which pages are read, how far down, and for how long. It is first-party: the identifier is generated here, sent only to REOS, and shared with no one. There are no cookies and no third-party analytics on this site.

What is storedWhat it is
visitor idA random number identifying your browser across visits. Not your name, and not derived from anything about you.
session idA random number identifying one browser tab. A new one each time you open the site.
page and sectionWhich page you are on and the furthest named section you scrolled to.
scroll depthHow far down the page you reached, as a percentage.
time on pageHow long the page was open, recorded when you leave it.
buttons clickedWhich call-to-action you clicked, by its position on the page.
referrerThe site you arrived from, as a domain only — never the full address.
campaign tagsThe utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign values in the link you followed, if any.
approximate locationA city, state and country, worked out from your network address by the service that delivers this page. It tells us which places to expand to. It is an estimate and is often wrong at city level — a VPN or a mobile network can place you in another state entirely.

If you create an account

If you follow a link from this site to sign up, the identifier is passed along so that we can tell which pages a new account read before signing up. From that point the records are associated with your account. If you arrive at signup another way — typing the address, or a different device — no association is made, and the earlier reading is never linked to you.

This is not cross-device. The identifier lives in one browser on one device. If you read the site on a phone and sign up on a laptop, those are two unrelated records to us, and we cannot connect them.

How long it is kept

One year, matching the retention on REOS's in-product usage records. Records older than that are deleted.

How to have it deleted

Email privacy@reossoftware.com.

Georgia residents have rights of access and deletion over personal data under SB 111. The same route applies.

Terms of Service

REOS is software for analysing publicly available property data. REOS is not a real estate broker, appraiser, or engineering firm, does not represent buyers or sellers, does not negotiate transactions, and does not provide opinions of value. Outputs are estimates generated from public record and must be independently verified before any transaction decision.
